SINS IV AGES Adds Drummer, Bassist

July 6, 2009

SINS IV AGES, the new band featuring Swedish musicians Mats Nilsson (MARYSCREEK) and Jesper Johansson (ex-MORIFADE),has issued the following update:

"After a few months of auditions/rehearsals, we’re pleased to welcome drummer Kim Gustavsson (DEVIANT BREED, SYSTEM SHOCK) and bassist Roger Blomberg (DENATA, FREEVIL) as permanent members of SINS IV AGES. Everything has worked very well, both on the personal like musical level and we're excited to continue the writing/recording process of new demo material as rehearsals along with them.

"What's now lacking to complete the band is a lead/rhythm guitarist, who ideally also should be able to handle some backing vocals. We assume that you have some listening material or maybe more to display on your page to convince us with. So if you're interested and think you'll fit the band, please feel free to send us an e-mail here on our MySpace page."

SINS IV AGES recently completed work on a four-song demo recording and is working on material for a debut album, to be released via an as-yet-undetermined record label. The demo, titled "Chapter I – DEMOlition", was laid down at Mats' home studio and was mixed by Jörgen Larsson at Poptrack Productions.

According to SINS IV AGES' official bio, the band's musical direction revolves around "great tunes without borders and no specific metal genres in mind. With Mats from a more hard rock- and AOR-oriented musical background and Jesper from the modern, technical, power semi-progressive side of metal, [the final result] is a very fresh, interesting and original-sounding mixture."
